The occurrence of severe flooding in #Sistan_and_Baluchestan province in Iran devastated a lot of buildings and structures.

Recently, a non-profit financial agreement has been made for the construction of four schools in this province based on the fund-raising campaign, including:

1) A school of art with six classes in Fanuj village
2) Two high schools with six classes in Bogan village of Qasr-e Qand
3) An elementary school with two classes in Morad Abad village of Irandegan District
4) An elementary school with three classes in Tahlab village of Mirjaveh

This tripartite agreement is a cooperation among the #Imam_Ali_Society, #Mehrgiti_Charity, and the Association of school-building donors at Sistan and Baluchestan.

After the flood and the first phase of relief, Imam Ali Society decided to begin the construction of educational spaces in these areas in order to provide sustainable services. Because the number of children who drop out of school is very high (especially girls), access to educational space is very low, and there is a long distance between these regions and the nearest school.

After the fund-raising for Sistan and Baluchestan’s flood, the Imam Ali Society has been following up on the contract during this period of time which ultimately was finalized in recent days. Imam Ali Society has committed to contribute 26,500,000,000 Rials in this cooperation.
