A Tribute To Forgiveness Sharmin Meymandinejad TEDx Amirkabir University

Sharmin tells of forgiveness and what the world needs today. He tells the tale of a journey to save a teenager sentenced to death. A teenager among 48 cases of juveniles under 18 who have committed murder but are now on death row. A few days after this presentation at TEDx Amir Kabir, another person was brought back to life. Sharmin Meymandinejad is a writer, director, social science researcher and founder of Imam Ali’s Community. Imam Ali’s Community is one of the largest NGOs in the Middle East, covering more than 5,000 children in Iran, Afghanistan and Iraq. This presentation was held at a TEDx event using the TED conferencing format, but independently organized by a local community.
